What a difference a year makes (in a dining room)

Over the last year or so I've done a lot of little projects around the house. But as I was looking at some older photos of our house, I realized that our dining room had the most changes of all. In the past year I've added a long table against the wall for an art area, made new curtains out of table cloths, created a piece of custom wall art using melted crayons, and resurfaced our entire table using craft tape.  
Hard to believe that just over a year ago our dining room was an area of the home that I hated so much that I didn't even have a single picture of it on the blog.
